June - September
We hosted our first ever BioBlitz at GoodEarth Saarang, engaging staff from GoodEarth and Maloor Eco Farms in a fun and collaborative biodiversity survey! Participants explored the food forest, capturing photos of every creature they encountered.
The event brought rich insights and strengthened our biodiversity records. This joyful day of citizen science will contribute to Saarang’s ecological research, conservation planning, and education efforts.

Slab casting for the first floor of Villa-31, 45&46 has beensuccessfully completed
On 8th August 2025, 68 students from Panampatta UPS visited for a day of learning and activities. The visit included a farm walk, an interactive theatre session, and an introduction to biodiversity.
Both the students and teachers gave positive feedback, appreciating the educational and engaging experience.
On 27th August 2025, 46 children from Muthukuttipoyil LPS from LKG to 4th standard, visited Saarang.
The visit began with a warm introduction and an overview of Saarang followed by a biodiversity walk where the children observed plants, insects, and birds, sparking their curiosity about nature. They also participated in interactive activities that encouraged questions and sharing.
The children were energetic, curious, and actively involved, making the visit joyful and memorable.
Pennidam Season 2 was held on August 9th and 10th, 2025, with 11 enthusiastic participants, including one aged 69. The event featured engaging activities, warmconnections, and meaningful conversations focused on overall wellness, femininewellness, and the importance of personal space. Through these sessions,participants gained a deeper understanding of self-care and the value of individualspace. The wellness meet was a great success, with many expressing that they didn’twant the event to end and hoping for more such camps in the future

On June 30, 2025, twenty-three students and teachers from Buds Special School, Aryaparamba, visited Saarang for a joyful and engaging day that included a refreshing farm walk and an introductory session exploring the vibrant birds and butterflies of the region
Tholambra Upper Primary School
On July 3, 2025, we welcomed 62 students from Tholambra Upper Primary School to GoodEarthSaarang for an engaging and educational day in nature. The visit included a guided farm walk, aninteractive theatre session, and a fun, accessible introduction to local biodiversity. The blend ofhands-on experiences and creative learning sparked curiosity and joy among the students.Both students and teachers shared positive feedback, highlighting the visit as a memorable andinspiring learning experience.
The development of the park area has been completed
From June 14–15, 2025, fifteen enthusiastic youth came together at Kurumkoot for an immersive camp experience that blended insightful discussions on Saarang’s sustainability model with enriching nature walks through the food forest, birdwatching, exhilarating rain sports, a scenic visit to Puralimala, and a vibrant mix of games and group activities that fostered learning, connection and joy.
On 15th July 2025, 15 Panchayath members from Maloor participated in a visit that included a farm walk and a session on sustainable development. During the farm walk, they observed various farming methods and sustainable practices being used. In the session, they learned about eco-friendly development and how to support sustainable farming. The purpose of the visit was to gain practical ideas for sustainable rural development and to promote green practices within the Maloor Panchayath.
On August 2nd and 3rd, 2025, twelve participants attended TheGentleman’s Trail, a two-day event focused on fostering connection,reflection, and shared outdoor experiences for men. The eventprovided a relaxed space for participants to bond and engage withnature together. It was very well-received, with many expressinginterest in attending similar gatherings in the future.

On September 10, 2025, we had the delightful opportunity to welcome 39 enthusiastic children from Sivapuram LPS to Saarang. It was truly heartwarming to engage with them during an eventful day filled with enriching activities. The sessions included fascinating discussions on biodiversity, an immersive farm walk, and a lively short theatre activity that brought out their creativity and joy. The kids were thoroughly delighted and reluctant to leave Saarang, their faces glowing with happiness. So inspired were they by the experience that they eagerly invited us to visit their school for a session in the near future. It was a memorable day of learning, laughter, and connection that we will cherish.
On 24-09-2025, 37 students from Kunderipoyil LP School visited GoodEarth Saarang, where they participated in theatre and biodiversity sessions a farm walk, nature-basedrole plays, and other engaging activities.
